As you step into this cozy eatery, you may be surprised to find its unassuming location in a strip mall. However, the moment you take your first bite, any doubts will vanish. Customers rave about the generous portions and the quality of the ingredients used, often noting that the food is prepared quickly and always fresh. The beloved spring rolls and fragrant Thai curries have earned high praise from patrons like Mateo Gebon, who highlight the large, filling servings that make each dish a value-for-money experience.
One standout dish that captures the essence of Thai Avenue is the Crying Tiger, which features flank steak marinated in lemongrass and grilled to perfection, paired with a tangy Thai chili lime sauce. This combination showcases a delightful contrast of flavors, complemented by the fragrant jasmine rice. Another crowd favorite is the TawtPah Fried Whole Tilapia, expertly topped with spicy garlic sauce, making it a must-try for seafood lovers.

In conclusion, Thai Avenue is more than just a restaurant; it is a culinary sanctuary where flavors meet convenience and quality meets value. If you haven’t ventured into this Thai haven yet, I highly recommend taking a trip down Homestead Drive. Your taste buds will thank you, as you embark on a flavorful journey that celebrates the richness of Thai cuisine in every bite.
I’ve eaten takeout from Thai Avenue three times now, and their spring rolls and Thai curries are quite nice. The portions are large, and they’re very filling with good quality ingredients. I suspect the food is Americanized, but it’s good enough not to care. My only problem is that it’s fairly far away from where I live, but maybe that’s better for my wallet.
Tried their drunken noodles with a spice level of 4/5 — definitely on the spicier side, but full of bold, delicious flavors! If you’re a fan of spicy food, this dish hits the mark. That said, it might be a bit too hot for kids or those who prefer milder options. The portion size was generous and well worth the price, which makes it even better value. Overall, I’d recommend giving this place a try. Looking forward to dining in next time to experience the full atmosphere!
I've never been disappointed with Thai Avenue. Their food tastes fresh and is prepared quickly! My favorite order is the #53 Tom-Ka soup with coconut base with a side of fresh spring rolls.
It's easily the biggest bargain in the HOLLAND/Zeeland area. During lunchtime, from 11 to 2, you get delicious tea, delicious soup, and an entree that could feed two people for under 11. And it’s all delicious with super fresh and big flavors. If you have not tried Thai food before, I highly recommend this place. Don’t feel overwhelmed by the menu... just read the dish ingredients, and if there’s an ingredient you don’t like, you can simply ask them to leave that out or substitute it for something else. And, of course, they have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Oh! This restaurant is located in a strip mall... an unexpected spot!
Unassuming spot in a strip mall, but we were blown away by the quality of the food and the ample portions. We will definitely have enough for another meal tomorrow. The spice level and flavor of our dishes was all spot on. Veggies were so fresh and well cooked. They seated us right at 7 with a friendly smile and quick service.
I placed an order for take out on Thursday, April 11, around 1:30 in the afternoon. I was craving for Drunken Noodles with Tofu, medium spicy. I didn’t have to wait long to pick up my order; it took only 30 minutes. I was greeted right away by the cashier/server at the front. My order was all set! I got home and opened up my bowl and it was packed to the max! The amount of food they gave me was enough to feed 2-3 people! I was so happy that I was able to have leftovers. My Drunken Noodles was really good and so flavorful! The amount of spice they put in was perfect! It wasn’t too spicy at all! I would definitely order it again in the future and would definitely dine in next time. I didn’t rate the atmosphere because I didn’t dine in, but I’m looking forward to it! I would recommend people trying this place out for some flavorful Thai food! Edited: 5.10.2024. I went back on 4.27.2024 to order take out. I added some more pictures. Delicious Red and Green curry.
Stopped in for dinner and was blown away by the PHO. For sure in the top five I've ever had. Can't wait to get back to try other items on the menu!!!
Try the Drunken Noodles and Spring rolls very good. If you like spice this place is it! Come check out this great local spot. Really good authentic Thai !
